…. but Mr. Mo and I are planning on being well out of the D.C. Metro area by 2011, for several reasons.
What really bothers me is that I’m not the paranoid type, but I see the path this country is going down and unless we seriously reverse it, we’re headed for this.
Selfishly, I’d like to think it happens well after 2017.

About Mo K.
I'm a capitalist conservative libertarian. Sometimes curmudgeonly, always patriotic. I'm a strong supporter of the RKBA. I love to cook, appreciate most music and playing the piano. I'm addicted to conservative talk shows-- sometimes a little TOO much, but it helps me stay informed, along with alternative media such as this blog.
Line/country dancing has been a passion of mine for the past several years which has been a fun way to get some exercise.
I'm seriously worried about the economy and the deepening divide between Americans and their ideologies, and I wish more people were better schooled in (or sought out on their own) the history of our nation and of the world -- because our country has been heading in the wrong direction for several years (only intensified since the Dems took over in 2006) and I'm afraid we're headed towards very scary times indeed. Some people will finally get that wake-up call, but it may be too late.
I pray regularly that more people will seek the truth and we can reverse this dangerous course we're on. As is often quoted: "Elections have consequences." We need to demand proper vetting of candidates, familiarize ourselves with how they've voted (if they've held public office previously), and hold them accountable when they've egregiously strayed from upholding the Constitution.
I’ll have a big post on “preppers” and preparing for disasters up in the fairly near future.
Idaho’s a nice place, and so is most of Colorado. The liberals are a bit weird in Boulder, but friendly, and one of my favorites churches is in that area. It’s a good idea to stay away from the coasts. We’re all crazy here.
