It was a serious mistake for Herman Cain even to meet with Imam Magid or with anyone else affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and its myriad of front groups. It was an even bigger mistake for Mr. Cain to issue any apology for having offended Muslims in any way.I must point out that most Americans have very little familiarity with Islamic doctrine as it exists in the Qur’an, the Hadiths, and shari’a law. Islam is not a religion in the normal sense of the word as Americans understand it. Something That Will Never Happen Again.
After Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin land, Armstrong utters the now-famous words, “Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed.” The pair plants an American flag on the surface, collects scientific samples, and arranges experiments. Savor this moment because it will never happen again.
Some of you might think I refer to Obama’s scuttling of the Space Shuttle program. But I’m not. Today, while reading my morning dose of news, I came upon two articles on the European Union’s ‘desperate’ attempts to stop the financial meltdown (which they call a ‘contagion’) of Greece. I knew I would find something there, but the first article only gave the outline of events. So I read the second article. And there it was. Just like I knew it would be. But later about that. Let’s start at the beginning. The article opens with:

Today’s daily digest had two articles presenting the FDA’s case that regulating medical apps is a good idea and they should do this. They can be found here and here.
Since the FDA routinely approves drugs that have to be recalled due to patient deaths – this is stuff that goes in the body and is digested – and allows the seed producers of genetically modified grains such as soybeans (that would be Monsanto) to police themselves and does not require animal testing on the crops even when genes are added to the seed – also, something that is digested – what makes FDA officials think that regulating mobile medical apps is a trustworthy endeavor for them?

That no good deed goes unpunished was proven again: NYU Professor Punished for Catching 20% of Students Cheating made it perfectly clear. Cheating is now an accepted part of the academic scene along with grade inflation; educators who interfere are not wanted.
Give this pervasive educational background, the ongoing drumbeat of corruption and illegality among our politicians seems not just unsurprising, but inevitable.

A jet can beat a bike across town, right? Well, not when it’s government regulated…Cyclists in Burbank Beat Jet Blue to Long Beach! tells the story.
The cyclists left home in Burbank when the jet passenger did. But the cyclists headed straight for Long Beach, arriving 1.5 hours later; the flier had to park, wait in line, get through security and wait through the boarding game before his plane even took off. The bikes won.
