Democrats Encourage Obama to Become King

   What has the Constitution to do with the Prez? He’s already above such things, with the full (if tacit) consent of Congress. Both houses, too.
   More particularly, isn’t the debt limit of interest to the House, which originates spending? The Prez’s budget proposal has no legal authority; it’s only a plan. Even approved by Congress, it doesn’t determine actual spending; appropriations bills do that. The Prez can proclaim ignoring the debt limt all he wants but no bucks will be appropriated until the House writes a bill, unless I’m missing something…
   And calling him a king doesn’t seem nearly as inflammatory as the things I hear others calling him!

     the debt & spending all rest with Congress, which makes this latest threat so ominous. The Dems & president are out of control. And you are 100% correct about BOTH parties- hence the upcoming secession storm.
