The presidency of Barack Obama would be hysterical – if it were not so dangerous to the United States of America. Now, the White House’s Council of Economic Advisors, (a group of three economists who were all handpicked by Captain Awesome himself), reports that Captain A’s “stimulus package” has added or saved just under 2.4 million jobs – whether private or public – at a cost (to date) of $666 billion. That’s a cost to taxpayers of $278,000 per job.

Quaddafi Warns of Carrying Out Attacks in Europe; his speech, delivered from hiding since the NATO has set its fumblers to kill him, points out that, if NATO can bomb and kill Libyans, then Libyans can fairly reverse the process. This seems to surprise many for some reason and some are quite indignant.
All those governments have been happy enough with Quaddafi for years; overnight, they decided to replace him and then, to kill him. Why is it any of their business? Budget Impasse Shuts Minnesota; Nobody Notices?
Minnesota Government Shuts Down in an impasse between a keep spending-raise taxes Democrat Governor and a cut spending-no tax increase Republican legislature. (Heard such anywhere before?)
The fascinating observation here is that nobody in Minnesota but the politicians seems to care much. In fact, not many seem to have notice the government’s absence. They’re running a few services for life or death emergencies and courts.
If they fail to start discovering huge problems quickly, folks might start wondering why they need the other 80 % of state government!

Court Strikes Down Ban on Race in College Admission is a 6th Circuit shoot-down of Michigan’s voter-approved mandate for race and gender neutral admissions policies. Under Michigan’s law, every applicant must receive the same treatment so far as race and gender are involved.
The Court found that this harms minorities and so fails Constitutionally mandated equal treatment…Shortly, we should expect to see heavy objects falling upward.
