A Wistful Look Back at a few of the Obama Scandals of 2011

AND OF COURSE: LIBERAL MEDIA LAPDOGS DECLARE THE REGIME ‘SCANDAL FREE’

Before we move on and focus on current (and future) examples of the inept “leadership,” class-warfare tactics, socialistic yearnings, dishonestly and overall failure of the Obama Regime, the Rat figured a bit of nostalgia was in order – and decided to take not only a final look back at the best Obama scandals of 2011, but at the sycophantic sock puppets who ignored those scandals as well.

In fact, several liberal lapdogs have astonishingly bragged about the “lack” of scandals in the House of Obama, but we’ll (gleefully) get to that later.

LightSquared. LightSquared is owned by the Harbinger Capital hedge fund, which is headed by billionaire investor Phil Falcone. Falcone has not only visited the Obama White House, he has also and made large donations to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Following such actions, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted LightSquared a highly unusual waiver that gave the company permission to build a national 4G wireless network.

Did Falcone’s campaign contributions grease the skids for the FCC approval?

The deal was not only criticized for its blatant ‘pay to play’ appearance but also because the LightSquared network would interfere with the part of the wireless spectrum which is used by Global Positioning Systems. (GPS)

Hell – for a regime that does its best to circumvent the U.S. Constitution when it gets in the way – GPS interference is no biggie when it comes to campaign cash.

While LightSquared and the Regime repeatedly denied that Falcone’s campaign contributions were related to the FCC action, over 300 emails obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by the Center for Public Integrity indicate otherwise. According to this report, LightSquared repeatedly “pressed its case… at times citing its fundraising for Democratic causes and President Obama.” Yet the Hypocrite-in-Chief rails against “special interests” in Washington. (Must be “the other guys’ special interests.)

In addition, the Regime was accused of forcing asking Gen. William Shelton, a four-star Air Force general who oversees Air Force Space Command, to change his testimony about the GPS interference issue. As with the other Obama scandals of 2011, we didn’t hear much from the Obama Media Group on LightSquared, did we?

  1. Last I heard, the average Senate campaign cost around $5 M dollars Senators don’t usually fund that themselves, right? A presidency costs a lot more nor do candidates fund those either. Therefore, our leaders have been bought before they enter office. Of course they’re crooks!

The media give Obie a free pass–only Republicans are corrupt, as every reporter knows–just as Pravda gave the Soviet government, what else?

Rat is doing God’s work…a good thing, now that He is dead and can’t do it Himself!
