Shameless Harry Reid: Mitt Romney Is Guilty Of My Evidence-Lacking Tax-Evasion Charges Until He Proves Himself Innocent!

DESPERATE SENATE MAJORITY LEADER REPEATS BASELESS CHARGE ON FLOOR OF SENATE

Welcome to Harry Reid’s America, folks. Harry Reid’s “America” is a made-up land on Planet Looney Tunes where desperate politicians make outlandish charges against their opponents –  with absolutely no proof of evidence – and then have the cojones to say, “I don’t know if it’s true or not.”

On Wednesday of this week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told The Huffington Post that what he claimed was a Bain Capital investor had called him to say Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes over a 10-year period. Moreover, Reid not only refused to identify his source – but also would not say what proof or basis existed for the claim. And, as all good liberals do, Reid promptly pronounced Romney guilty – until proven innocent:

“I don’t think the burden should be on me. The burden should be on him.”

Speaking to reporters in Nevada, Reid went on to say:

“I am not basing this on some figment of my imagination. I have had a number of people tell me that.”

Hey, Harry – I’ve had a number of people tell me that Elvis is alive and America faked the moon-landing too – so what?

This is the Democratic Party I wrote about in Let’s Revisit Alinksky’s ‘Rules For Radicals’; O Does – On A Regular Basis. This is the Democratic Party of Saul Alinsky.

Whereas liberal politicians with integrity (Is that oxymoronic?) might have thought things through overnight and subsequently walked back the charges the next day – having realized the slimy nature of their unsubstantiated accusation – not Harry Reid. Hell, no - nothing is beneath Harry Reid.

Hell, Reid didn’t even let what little conscience he might have bother him in the least, as he doubled down - on the Senate floor:

This disgraceful political hack refused to add, of course, that Mitt Romney has released the same amount of tax information as that released by Barack Obama and John McCain in 2008.

Imagine the level of mass hysteria that would arise from the liberal media sock puppets if John Boehner were to make a similarly baseless charge against Obama – in the House Chamber, no less. What a jackass.

This is who these people are, America. Saul Alinsky would be proud indeed.

  1. Libel and slander are still chargible offenses aren’t they?

  2. Ok, you pegged Dingy Harry dead center but that’s out in reality where no politician ever ventures, right? so, it’s kind of irrelevant, isn’t it?
The Beck crowd and others are having a wonderful time accusing Harry of everything from original sin through pederasty while admitting a total lack of proof but Harry’s the original Sitting Duck, right? Sort of pathetic, really. His intentions are clearly Left but his statements make it hard sometimes to know which side he’s really supporting. We likely should just be grateful for him, like we are for Nancy and Joe when we don’t have much to write about…

  3. Well, theoretically of course that’s true but nobody on either side takes Dingy Harry in his public persona seriously. how could they? And a Fox News babe publicly accused Harry of beating his wife for the last ten years which ought to be a felony even in Nevada.

At the moment, seems to me the whole Congress is damn near irrelevant so far as governance of this country is concerned…we’d likely be better off with a barrel full of monkeys!

  4. “Well, theoretically of course that’s true but nobody on either side takes Dingy Harry in his public persona seriously.”

This is false, obviously, given that the lapdogs of the Obama Media Group picked up Reid’s shameless accusation (LIE) and have run with it incessantly. And yes, believe it or not, it has the potential shave a vote or two off Mitt’s column.
