American Voters Must Speak and Read English? God Forbid!
Colorado congressman wants ballots printed only in English
Kudos to Senator Mike Coffman for daring to go against the tyranny of political correctness in order to promote common sense. Apparently, he wants to have voter information, ballots, and registrations in English only. Now there’s a novel idea since being able to read and write basic English is required to be an American citizen. But, as usual, the PC nazi’s have to kill off half the rainforest in order to appease the laziness of the minority.
Do you realize how much paper and resources are wasted every year in order to print multilingual instructions and signs? I remember not too long ago, I bought a DIY cabinet. The manufacturers wasted FOUR pages of paper for an instruction that took one page in English because it was multilingual. That’s pathetic. If I move to another country, I would be respectful and intelligent enough to learn to read and write the language. If not, I don’t need to live in that society. The same goes for those who refuse to learn English here in America.
Islam vs. Christianity In America
This is an interesting commentary of facts showing how biased our government is towards Islam versus Christianity.
The Truth of God’s Tolerance of Sin
As the controversy over gay marriage “rights” continues, we see the distinction between the two groups becoming more and more defined–with the pro-gay and the “religious right.” But what is happening is that many religious people are trying to span the chasm between the two by watering down the Word of God in the name of tolerance. People try to paint Jesus as a tolerant man. But the raw truth is that He wasn’t. Here are some things that Jesus said that aren’t very tolerant:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me” (empasis mine). As you see this is not very tolerant to all the other religions, is it?
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Not very tolerant again. What Jesus is saying is that when people stand for holiness, that it will cause a division between them and those who do not believe. The Truth will naturally divide the Christians from the non-Christians. Actually, pretty much the whole chapter of Matthew 10 isn’t showing Christ in a very tolerant light.
But God doesn’t restrict His intolerance on just the unbeliever. 1st Peter 4:17 says “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” So God will also judge those who claim to be Christian who are disobedient.
The Book of Revelation is full of Jesus’ intolerance for both the faux-Christian and the unbeliever. So please don’t bore me with your new-age, humanistic, relativistic, screw-ball beliefs on Jesus and God. The only people you are fooling are those who are walking the fence who wouldn’t know the Word of God from a quote in a fortune cookie.
But what about God’s unconditional, eternal love? God wouldn’t be that way! He indeed loves all of mankind with all His heart. Just as a Father loves his children, even the ones that go astray. But when men become disobedient they shun God’s discipline and correction. And because of this they alienate themselves from God. Just like the prodigal son did. But what people do today is rebel against God, and then blame Him when things go wrong. When the prodigal son went and did what he did and ended up eating with pigs, did he blame his father? No. He had more brains than most people do. At least he took responsibility for his action. People today are lazy and unaccountable. Everyone else is responsible for the way they are, not them. It’s always someone else’s fault. All the while, our God of eternal, unconditional love waits for them to return home.
There are many who hold to the morals of man rather than God. This, in itself is a tragedy. What creates a bigger tragedy is when one who claims to be a Christian does that. A person proclaims he is a Christian, but screams for laws that clearly go against God’s Word is double-minded. I would suspect that they are not a Christian, in the true sense of the word. Rather, they have created their own religion and god in their own image. They want a god who fits into their convenient lifestyle; a god who requires nothing of them. Who loves them just the way they are (by the way, God doesn’t love us “just the way we are”–He loves us despite the way we are). I know that the Scriptures say that we are to obey our government. I do not debate that. Many Christians use that as their cause for promoting certain laws. But when our government turns ungodly and promotes sin, what are Christians to do? Which is more important? God or government? The Creator or His creation? What do Christians do when we are no longer allowed to speak freely? You say “It won’t happen! Free speech is our constitutional right!” As we have learned from the past, our constitution is an ever evolving and changing document that bends with every change in man’s moral compass.
And let me ask you this. What about the countries that don’t share our constitution? The ones that suppress the same rights that we hold true? Those citizens cannot claim that they have the right to do what we do. Christians in other countries told they can’t preach the Gospel, as we are allowed (for now) to do. There’s nothing we can do for them. They are under that country’s law. But, then, if the law in those countries say that we cannot preach the Gospel, why are Christians usurping that authority by covertly preaching? If we are to respect our government, as God commands, are they not sinning? No! Because they know that God and His Word are above the government; that there is a higher Authority.
So then I hear people say “That’s why we’re trying to spread democracy throughout the world.” Those are the same people who condemn Christians by saying “Why are you trying to force others to live like you? Why can’t you just let people live the way they want?” So then I respond by saying “The same reason why you’re trying to get people to live the way you do.” The intolerant preaching tolerance is idiotic at best. Do you know who the truly tolerant people are? They’re the ones that don’t say anything! They’re the ones not boycotting Chik-Fil-A! They’re the ones not on blogs like this posting their opinions. And do you know what people who preach tolerance call them? Spineless. Because they won’t take a stand. So then you have the people peddling tolerance condemning those who are practicing it! Common sense is not their strong point.
And there’s nothing at all wrong with being intolerant. I am intolerant. God is intolerant. Jesus is intolerant. What’s wrong is people who are intolerant preaching tolerance. I don’t care if you don’t tolerate me! I had one gentleman who said “I am tolerant! I just don’t tolerate people like you!” A few minutes later, after I stopped laughing, I said “Oh, so you tolerate people who agree with you.” He didn’t have much to say after that. That’s not tolerance.
I agree that theocracy, by man’s design, is a bad thing. But one day there will be a true theocracy ruled by God. And those who despise the idea of a theocracy shouldn’t worry about it. The only citizens of this theocracy are those who want to be there. It is the ultimate right and freedom to choose. And if you don’t want to be there, then you will not be forced to be there.
What is Our Greatest Threat?
I came across a show on TV the other day titled “The Doomsday Prophets”. It was a panel of experts discussing how they believe the fall of America (and possibly the world) would take place. It was quite interesting. The four scenarios that they figured would be among the most likely are these:

The Burqa Bungle
http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8144154
The apparently happened in Britain, where Islam is expanding it’s foothold. This is an example of someone trying to use the excuse of racism to manipulate the court system. Though wearing a burqa in public is a religiously mandated thng, but I do agree that it is important to ascertain the identity of a person involved in suspicious or illegal activity. That may include requiring a Muslim woman to temporarily lower her burqa in order to do so. Aside from that, it is an obvious attempt to inflict damage on a police officer’s reputation. It is an attempt at usurping the authority of the country that this woman is living in. If she wants a government that respects her conviction to not remove her burqa, perhaps she needs to move back to a country that agrees with that tenet.
Westboro, The Antithesis of Christianity
Westboro Baptist Church to Protest Elizabeth Edwards Funeral
I have heard of Westboro’s rather unChristian-like behavior in the past, but never paid much attention to them. I happen to be watching CNN last night (no, I don’t make a habit of watching them, or any news show. They came on after another show that I had been watching), and some commentator named Anderson (?) began talking about Westoboro’s latest antics. And I realized just how messed up they really are. When a group who claims to be Christians engage in actions to the contrary, there is something wrong with their teachings.

Greed and Deceit in the Church
Former Daystar Employee Sues Evangelist Over Affair
Not too long ago, Marcus Lamb, televangelist and founder of DayStar Christian Television Network, came forward and announced an affair that he had some time ago. He did this because three people in his organization were attempting to blackmail him for $7.5 million by threatening to bring his indiscretion to the public eye. Apparently, this didn’t set too well with Jeanette Hawkins, one of the people attempting to blackmail him. Being denied her booty by being cut off at the pass, she decided to continue her deceitfulness by filing a lawsuit against Lamb. My, if she’s not a persistant, and greedy, one.

The True Face of Tolerance
To give a disclaimer, this post is coming from a solely Christian point of view. And as you read this, you will realize why many would call me a Fundie, Conservative, “Holier-than-thou”, and even a religious extremists. And those are the nice titles. I have debated with many, many people on a number of subjects–some are political, but most are of a religious nature. And the one thing I constantly hear is “Why can’t you be more tolerant?” This coming from people who usually end up calling me vile names and such. Yeah, real tolerant.
So, let’s look at the idea of tolerance. Typically, the person preaching tolerance is using this definition of it: sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). That’s well enough. Unfortunately, from my experience, most people preaching tolerance are far from being tolerant themselves because they have no sympathy for my beliefs that differ from their own. But can true tolerance be practiced by anyone? The only way I see it is if people do not debate or come against another person’s view or belief. Not likely. Our country was built on intolerance. It was intolerance that started the Revolutionary War. It was intolerance that started the Civil War.
But what we have today, is a bunch of eunical (I’m being “tolerant” of people’s sensitivity) humanists pushing a perverted form of tolerance on everyone. For example, many times I have had a somewhat intense debate with someone. After some time, they grow frustrated and say something like “You really should learn to be tolerant.” I reply “Maybe you should be too.” They typically respond something with something like “I am tolerant! Just not with people who believe like you!” Huh? Let me repost the definition of tolerance: sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own. (emphasis mine). So what many people mean, when they say they’re “tolerant”, is that they are tolerant of you….as long as you don’t disagree with them.
The other argument I get (typically from a religious person, or someone who attends church only on Easter and Christmas and don’t even know where they stashed their Bible) is this. “Well, if you really are a Christian, you’d be tolerant like Jesus was.” To which I respond…”I am” or, sometimes if I’m really punchy, I’ll just be blunt and say “What an ignorant thing to say.”
Now, I could get into some spiritual teaching on Jesus’ first coming and second coming, the purpose of both, and the Lamb of God vs the Judge of Humanity and yada yada yada. But that would take some time. Perhaps I’ll do a quick teaching on it on my other blog someday. But, sufficeth to say that even during Jesus’ time on here, He showed His intolerance.
Jesus said “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’” (Luke 13:24-27) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:22)
There are many people who say “God would never send a “good” person to hell.” Jesus’ response is “No one is good but One, that is, God.” And Jesus also said “ I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” and “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” So, again, we see that Jesus is not very tolerant.
“But Jesus ate with the drunks, tax collectors, and prostitutes!” is another argument from people trying to proclaim that Jesus was tolerant. Which that statement is true. Jesus did eat with those people. But to what end? Not to justify, endorse, or encourage their sin. But rather to draw them out of their sin. Zacchaeus and Matthew are two great examples of this. Jesus even explained why He ate with the sinners. “They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.”
“But what about the prostitute that was to be stoned? Jesus said ‘You who are without sin, cast the first stone.’” True. But Jesus still didn’t condone her sin. If you recall His last words to her were “Go and sin no more.” So, again, Jesus is not tolerant. Not only that, but this event was an example of the difference between the first covenant and the second covenant.
So, to wrap up up this post, let me recap. No, God is not tolerant of immorality and neither am I. God is, however, tolerant of people (as am I). And, if you’re going to preach at me about being tolerant, then practice it. And how do you tell who those are that are truly tolerant? They’re the ones not arguing with you.

Obama Playing Favorites?
Health Care Reform: Where’s the Equal Treatment?
When it comes to Obama’s new health care plan, he’s giving an exception to the biggest contributor to his health care plan. It seems that some of the biggest companies can’t foot the bill for ObamaCare. Anyone else not suprised? But isn’t it interesting that a group, like this teacher’s union, would support a bill that they can’t afford? I don’t know. Either this teacher’s union is completely inept at financial management, or this “exemption” was something already agreed upon by both parties previously.
Either way, Obama is playing favorites. I just got my paycheck, with my deduction for medical insurance. It’s gone way up, and I can’t afford it anymore. You think Obama will give me an exemption? Or do I need to contribute millions of dollars to his cause first? Either way…I end up screwed.
See No Evil….
Can’t teach religion in public schools? No problem! We’ll just send them on a field trip to the local mosque where we’ll give them a religion immersion experience! ROFL. Where’s the ACLU on this one? Cowering in the corner, afraid that some muslim extemist is going to kill them if they protest? Yeah, I’d like to see them try and send a class on a field trip to full pentacostal church service! The ACLU would be there, banging down the door before you could even get to the “meet and greet” part of the service.
*Sigh* Such ineptness and double standard from our own citizenry and local, self-appointed, anti-religion brute squad. But, hey! At least it wasn’t in school! So maybe that makes it alright. If this had happened in my kids’ school, they never would have made it to the mosque. They wouldn’t have made it off of the school property. I would have contacted every TV news station, news paper, city official, government officials, National Inquirer, and Redbook.
This ain’t going down in my town!
Ok. I’m done. Anyone got a spare Ihram?
The Whining Sound You Hear….
Muslim States Press U.N. Council to Condemn Anti-Islam Actions, Speech
The OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) has decided that the recent attempt by certain Christians here in the states to burn the Qu’ran is worthy of legal penalization. They are now petitioning the UN to pass a law against “instances of intolerance, discrimination, profiling and acts of violence against Muslims occurring in many parts of the world.”
Now, let’s throw aside the fact that the military just burned countless Bibles at the request of these countries….and the fact that Christians aren’t even allowed to speak of Jesus in their countries….and the fact that radical Islam (which they support) seeks to kill Christians, and any Muslim that converts to Christianity. Maybe then, I would be sympathetic to their plight.
But we can’t discount those facts. And it doesn’t leave them much credibility…or much respect. I feel sorry for them. Not so much for the fact that some misled Christian threatened to burn their book, but for the fact that they are so pathetic in their response.
But look at the phrasing that they used: “….instances of intolerance, discrimination, profiling and acts of violence…” Notice how they sneak that phrase “profiling” in their petition? Don’t want any extremists profiled.
And this coincides with their annual “running of the bull” (and I don’t mean the four-legged kind)–their presentation of the “Defamation of Religion” garbage that they peddle every year at the UN. This resolution to supposedly end religious by making an international law against persecuting religions is nothing but smoke. A closer look at this resolution shows that, for example, a Christian could be arrested for prosletyzing or calling another religion a false religion. On top of that, Islam is the only religion ever mentioned in this resolution.
Radical Islam is very sneaky and underhanded.
Burn Baby! Burn!
So, now we have this doowa wanting to burn Qu’rans in protest of the mosque in New York. He’s claiming to be a Christian, but I can tell you that Jesus would have nothing to do with this. I’m sure his motives are admirable, and that he’s doing what he thinks is right. But burning Qu’rans does absolutely nothing, other than incite anger and put a lot of people in harm’s way. The muslim extremists already have enough excuses of their own as to why we should be killed without us adding to that list by our own stupidity.

There’s Money in Murder
Planned Parenthood (an oxymoron at best) has been the trailblazer in legalized murder and promiscuous sex for many decades. Since Margaret Sanger, outspoken eugenics and sexual immorality supporter, began her first birth control clinic in 1916, the value of human life has dropped. Since then, countless millions of infants have died in the name of convenience. That’s what PP is about. Conveniece for those who are irresponsible. PP has, since the beginning (and true to Sanger’s own sexual views) promoted promiscuous sex. In her own words, “[Our objective is] unlimited sexual gratification without the burden of unwanted children…” Not withstanding the Biblical view on this subject, that is a very irresponsible attitude; but one that has been so easily accepted by lazy people. Thus, the assurance of continued income for PP.

The Ground Zero Slap in the Face
What is the purpose of the Mosque near Ground Zero. Is it, as Imam Rauf claims it to be, a “cultural community center” for improving interfaith dialogue? Or could it be what many believe to be a recruiting center for radical Islam? Or maybe it will follow what the history of Islam has shown, and simply be a shrine celebrating another radical Muslim victory in it’s war against the infidels; a Western Mecca of sorts.
