It is rather interesting that the only branch of government Republicans control is the one with the lowest rating....and just as interesting that somehow the Teaparty is considered "racist" and an obstacle, but the Occupy movment is portrayed as representing average Americans and is "enlightened."

This is all due to the part of the Democratic party known as the Smear_N_Slime division..AKA MSM...Their role is to always portray Republicans for the lack of bipartaniship, The Teaparty as the right wing kooks that hijacked the Republican party. And on the other hand, all the free and unchallenged airtime Obama gets to give his views on whatever the current issue is that's being debated. Brian Williams, Scott Pelley, etc, they dont question anything he says, just there to with the spin and smear the Republicans.

The Obama democrats have an agenda of "change", that many don't want. And the more of that agenda that is revealed, even more people realize they don't want it. The Republican congress has thwarted that agenda and bought us time. Time for more people to have their eyes opened to just what Obama and the new Democratic party is all about.

So this very "inconvenient election," that replaced Obama's lil helpers with Republicans has helped more than we realize. As is evidenced by the fierce opposition to his abortion mandate and the flushing out of Planned Parenthood. Bringing to light how Obama and cohorts coerce organizations like Komen to fund Planned Parenthood. Without the Republicans, we would have had very little to stand in the way of the "change" Obama and friends intended for America.

I won't help the opposition smear and attempt to marginalize a group of people that have done more than we realize. Inspite of the Democrat and Rino opposition they have faced.

I'm in favor of the monkey idea if we exclude the East and West coasts, Chicago, and Detroit. Imagine the possible havoc coming our way if it were to land in San Francisco (not to mention the fate of our poor simian friend).

Come to think of it, filling the Capitol and the White House with monkeys would be an improvement over the current denizens.

You stated "Pretty much lays out the truth on the subject of armed citizenry".

If AC's article was true, then the Iraqis under Saddam Hussein were more "independent and self-sufficient" than Americans, less dependent on the government, and "more resistant to seizures of power by the government".

So either Saddam's Iraq was a model of liberty compared to the US - or AC's article fails to reflect actual reality.
